Canon announced that Vice President Ogawa Kazuto has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Ogawa previously served as President of Canon Singapore and Canon Canada, and later as President of Canon U.S.A., driving business growth in North and South America. He has also held the position of Managing Executive Officer before being promoted to Vice President.

Canon stated that this appointment is aimed at ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
