Volvo Cars announced that Duan Jianjun has succeeded Yuan Xiaolin as President and CEO of Volvo Cars Greater China.

Duan Jianjun previously held positions at BMW and Mercedes-Benz, and served as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Sales China, becoming the first Chinese CEO of Mercedes-Benz China. Earlier in his career, he worked as a maintenance technician at Volvo.

In his new role, he will take full charge of end-to-end operations in Greater China, overseeing the entire industrial and commercial value chain.
